Fitger`s Brewhouse opened in 1995, after its founders took a western-states ski trip and came back inspired by that region`s brewing scene.  Combining the relaxed ambience of a high mountain brewery with uncompromising dedication to quality, the Brewhouse established a tradition of handcrafted beer, fantastic food and excellent entertainment on Lake Superior`s north shore. 

This year the Brewhouse Brewery will produce more than 100-styles--and 2,000 barrels--of handcrafted beer.  The Brewhouse Grille, Red Star Lounge and Burrito Union carry a rotating combination of 20 unique brews, including a cask-conditioned ale, the medal-winning Witch Tree E.S.B. and Big Boat Oatmeal Stout.  All three venues host eclectic local and touring entertainers several nights a week.
